Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 April 2025

1. Who you are dealing with

This website, www.ankurkapur.com ("Website"), is owned and operated by Ankur Kapur, an individual carrying on business as a sole proprietor from 9B, Shivalik Apartment, Plot No. 32, Sector 6, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075 ("we", "us", "our").

We are registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI") as a Research Analyst, in individual capacity, under Registration No. INH000028398. Research Analysts are administered and supervised by the Research Analyst Administration and Supervisory Body (RAASB) at BSE Limited.

Registration granted by SEBI and certification from NISM in no way guarantee the performance of the intermediary or provide any assurance of returns to investors.

2. Acceptance

By accessing the Website, browsing its content, submitting an enquiry form, subscribing to any service or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Refund Policy, Service Delivery Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Services are offered to residents of India. Non-resident Indians and foreign nationals may be accepted only where permitted under applicable law, at our sole discretion, and subject to additional documentation.

4. Nature of services

We provide research services as a SEBI Registered Research Analyst: research reports, model portfolios, sector notes, entry rationale, targets, exit alerts and related material, published on a subscription basis.

Research is prepared for general circulation to subscribers. It is not personalised investment advice, is not tailored to the financial situation, objectives or needs of any individual subscriber, and must not be treated as a recommendation to any particular person.

We do not accept custody of, or handle, subscriber funds or securities. All transactions are executed by you, in your own name, through your own broker, bank or platform. We receive no commission, brokerage or trail from any product manufacturer or distributor in respect of the research practice, and hold no power of attorney over any subscriber account.

5. Onboarding and agreements

Access to paid research is granted only after: (i) completion of KYC as required under SEBI regulations and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002; (ii) execution of the subscriber agreement through our e-sign provider; and (iii) receipt of fees. The Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) are provided to every subscriber at onboarding. Where these Terms conflict with your executed subscriber agreement, the executed agreement prevails.

6. Fees and payment

Subscription fees are published on the Pricing page and specified in your executed agreement. All fees are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax, which is charged additionally at the applicable rate.

Fees are payable only by cheque, online bank transfer, UPI, credit or debit card, or other banking channels. Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances. Subscribers may optionally pay through the Centralised Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) administered by BSE Limited.

For subscribers who are individuals or Hindu Undivided Families and are not accredited investors, fees are subject to the SEBI-prescribed ceiling of ₹1,51,000 per annum per family, exclusive of statutory charges. Fees may be charged in advance only to the extent permitted by SEBI from time to time. Refund entitlements on early termination are set out in the Refund Policy.

Payment processing. Online payments are collected through Razorpay, our payment gateway partner, on behalf of Ankur Kapur (sole proprietor), who is the merchant of record for every transaction. The descriptor appearing on your card or bank statement will identify this merchant. All amounts are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) only. Card, net-banking and UPI credentials are captured and held by the gateway on PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure; we neither see nor store them. A GST invoice is issued to your registered email for every successful payment.

Authorisation. By submitting a payment you confirm that the payment instrument used belongs to you and that you are authorised to use it. Payments must be made from an account in the subscriber's own name; third-party payments are not accepted, as required under SEBI and anti-money-laundering rules, and will be returned.

Failed and disputed transactions. If an amount is debited without the subscription being activated, the gateway ordinarily reverses it automatically within 5–7 business days. If it does not, write to advisor@ankurkapur.com with the transaction reference. Before raising a chargeback with your bank, please contact us first — a refund that is legitimately due will always be processed faster directly than through a dispute.

7. Your obligations

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information, including KYC documents, and to update us promptly on any material change. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and for assessing whether any research is suitable for your circumstances before acting on it. You agree not to share, forward, resell, republish or otherwise distribute any subscriber content or login credentials.

8. Termination and suspension

You may cancel a subscription at any time by written notice to advisor@ankurkapur.com. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where there is non-payment, a breach of these Terms, sharing of content or credentials, failure to complete or update KYC, or where we reasonably believe the relationship has become unlawful. Refunds on termination are governed by the Refund Policy.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Website and in subscriber material is protected as set out in the Copyright Information page.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, arising from your use of the Website or reliance on any content. Our aggregate liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014.

11. Grievance redressal

Any complaint may be sent to advisor@ankurkapur.com and will be acknowledged within 7 business days and resolved within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint on the SEBI SCORES portal at www.scores.sebi.gov.in, and thereafter pursue resolution through the SMART ODR portal at smartodr.in. Full details are on the Contact Us page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the SEBI-prescribed dispute resolution mechanism, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance.
