This Privacy Policy explains how Ankur Kapur, sole proprietor (9B, Shivalik Apartment, Plot No. 32, Sector 6, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075), SEBI Registered Research Analyst (INH000028398), collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data. It is issued in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and applicable SEBI regulations.

 

What we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, address, email, telephone number, date of birth.

  • KYC data: PAN, Aadhaar-based or other officially valid documents, and related records collected under SEBI and PMLA requirements.

  • Transaction data: subscription details, fees paid, invoices, GST details, payment references.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and time spent, collected through cookies and analytics.

  • Communications: enquiry form submissions, emails and correspondence.

 

Why we use it

To provide research services; to complete KYC and satisfy anti-money-laundering obligations; to execute the subscriber agreement and process fees; to deliver research reports and alerts; to maintain records required under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014; to respond to enquiries and grievances; to comply with law and respond to lawful requests from regulators; and to improve the Website.

 

Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, and our legal and regulatory obligations under SEBI regulations, PMLA and tax law.

 

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with:

  • Razorpay and our banking partners, to process fees and issue refunds.

  • E-sign and KYC service providers, to execute agreements and verify identity.

  • Website, hosting and email providers, including Wix, which hosts the Website.

  • Professional advisers — auditors, chartered accountants and legal counsel — bound by confidentiality.

  • SEBI, RAASB / BSE Limited, statutory auditors and other authorities, where required by law or regulation.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we require contractual safeguards consistent with applicable law.

 

Retention

Records required under SEBI regulations — KYC documents, subscriber agreements, research rationale, and communications — are retained for at least five years, or longer where required by law or where a dispute or proceeding is pending. Other data is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose collected.

 

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting and confidentiality obligations to protect personal data. Payment credentials are handled entirely by our PCI-DSS compliant gateway and are never stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure of data we are not required to retain, withdrawal of consent, and nomination of a person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Children

Services are not offered to persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
